Lesher’s Beerd Balm® Varieties

NOTE: These are the aroma descriptions of the actual, raw hops themselves and not of the finished products that we make. While we do use copious amounts of hops to infuse Lesher’s Beerd Balm with the essential oils and other goodies found within the whole hops, it does not contain whole hops and it doesn’t smell like fresh hops. If you want a beard balm that smells like fresh hops, you best look elsewhere (it doesn’t exist, btw). Our products smell like something completely unique, something you’ve probably never smelled before and we think it’s pretty damn awesome. Oh, and it’s not for everyone. Depending upon the hop variety you choose, you’ll get a fragrance that’s either funky, earthy, spicy, fruity, citrusy, or complex. Basically, if you’re looking for something that smells like fresh hops you had better buy some fresh hops. Our products have a unique aroma all their own and we’re unabashedly proud of it.

Mosaic: Also known as HBC369, Mosaic is the first born child of Simcoe. Some have described it as Citra on steroids, but it’s much more than that. Rich in Mango, lemon, citrus, earthy pine, tropical fruit, herbal and stone fruit notes.

Galaxy: Galaxy™ has rapidly become the most internationally recognized Australian flavor hop. Her reputation comes from the distinctly identifiable characters she brings to beer, which can range from passion fruit and peach to clean citrus aromas which are more intense the later the addition. Highly versatile, Galaxy can be used in almost all varieties of beer. A protagonist in its own right, Galaxy is not to be mistaken for Citra.

Simcoe: Say the word IPA to a hophead and the first hop variety many of them will think of is Simcoe. Simcoe is a hugely aromatic hop variety with a woodsey, musky, citrus character that is as known for its funkiness as its complexity. If you’re into Dogfish Head 60 Minute Ale, this is the hop for you.

Citra: Looking for a hop variety with bit of a fruity character? Who isn’t? Citra, like its name implies, is a hop with strong citrus and tropical tones. Think refreshing notes of grapefruit, melon, lime, gooseberry, passion fruit and lychee. Smells fresh and wild, just like you.

Cascade: If middle-of-the-road is more your thing, you can’t go wrong with Cascade. This medium intensity hops variety is full of gentle floral, citrus and grapefruit tones and blends perfectly with your natural aromas.

Remove desired amount of beard balm from the tin using the back of a fingernail. For your average beard we recommend an amount about the size of a nickel. Massage the beard balm between your palms to warm and smell that seductive hop essence. Start at the base of the beard and using spread fingers, gently massage the beard balm into your beard paying close attention to the skin and the ends of the beard hair. Repeat the process using a downward motion. Style as you typically would. Now you’re ready to drive everyone wild with your deliciously hoppy beard.

All of our products are made using 100% all-natural plant based oils and butters. We do not use any artificial additives or preservatives in our formulations and as such we believe they are at their peak hoppiness within 8 months of purchase. Products older than one year should be disposed of properly.

All ingredients used in all of our products are listed on every label. It is up to you to be aware of your own allergies and sensitivities. Do not use our products if you have allergic reactions or sensitivities to any of the ingredients listed. If you are a person with known sensitivities please test the product on a small patch of skin on your arm or leg first before using them on the face.

Each batch of Lesher’s Beerd Balm is made from scratch and because each batch is as individual as you are there may be subtle variations in the finished product. Hops are a living plant and crops differ slightly from year to year. This means that from batch to batch intensity of fragrance and color will also differ slightly.

Because we make this fine Beerded Beard Co. product in small batches, production capacity is a bit limited. We are willing to address large-quantity Wholesalers & Resellers on an individual basis. If you’re interested in carrying Beerded Beard Company products please contact us directly here and let’s chat.
